Two Hoots Farm is family barn located in Riverview, Florida.  The owners, Bob and Lisa Weiss, live on the property and run the farm.

The farm sits on 55 acres, most of which is pasture.  There are large individual turnout grass paddocks and two arenas for ring work.  The main barn has 12 x 12 stalls, a 16-foot center aisle, dutch doors, windows looking out, a fly system, and thermostat-controlled industrial fans.  There are four wash stalls and three additional grooming areas.

The main arena is 300 x 275 with grass footing, and there are jumps.  There is also a round pen.   For those that like trail riding, there is access to several trails winding through shady Florida native vegetation.

We are located on Balm Boyette Road, about four miles from the Boyette Road entrance to FishHawk Ranch.

History

In 2001, Bob & Lisa Weiss bought 55 acres in Riverview, Florida.  For eight years they leased the property to a trainer and continued to live in South Tampa.  Their daughter Meg competed in Hunter and was year-end PCHA Champion in three divisions in 2004 on her thoroughbred Portfolio.  Finally, in 2009, the Weiss’ moved to their Riverview property and christened it “Two Hoots Farm.”  Meg now attends The University of Virginia and is on UVA’s collegiate riding team.   Their younger daughter Ali enjoys being around the horses and improving her riding skills.

Vision

Bob & Lisa’s vision is a family barn - a place where well-behaved dogs are welcome, and where owners are free to come visit their horses any day of the week.

Two Hoots is not a show barn, although there are some clients who compete.  Two Hoots is a place where horse lovers can feel at home, with training for those who want it, and always with excellent care for their horses.

A different kind of barn.....
